Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help run our busy restaurant operation. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, leading staff, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through maintenance and adherence to food safety procedures.
- Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Work with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner.
- Analyze profit and loss statements to capture and capitalize on opportunities.
- Collaborate with Restaurant Manager in talent acquisition efforts.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- 1+ years of restaurant management experience.
- 1+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1+million.
- 1+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
- 1+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
- Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- A valid driver’s license and ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
