We are looking for an Assistant Maintenance Manager who will use leadership and technical skills to lead a team of maintenance mechanics and collaborate with robotics and controls technicians in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a safe workplace and supporting multi-site production to meet operational goals.
What You'll Do
- Model safety standards and maintain an environment always focused on safety.
- Lead, train, and support maintenance team members to develop skills and expand team capabilities.
- Develop solutions to difficult problems, manage outside contractors, and be on-call for emergencies.
- Handle multiple projects and daily activities, meet deadlines, and develop plans to accomplish departmental goals.
- Provide complete oversight of preventive maintenance for the facility and serve as the client's point of contact during their shift.
- Partner with onsite Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to ensure all safety standards are met.
- Meet operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including labor tracking.
- Own scheduling and tracking completion of maintenance tickets.
- Oversee building cleanliness.
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Perform daily and weekly audits for cleanliness and work orders.
- Implement preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance programs.
- Maintain a client-centric relationship with operational stakeholders.
- Participate in the development and tracking of budgets.
- Assist in project planning and cost analysis.
- Provide thorough feedback to enhance individual performance, including written performance appraisals and discipline.
- Promote and conduct good housekeeping.
- Travel as required to support network needs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Prior leadership experience.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and alternative work schedules as needed.
- Experience performing maintenance on industrial machinery, electrical systems, and electronic controls.
- Must be authorized to work within the hiring country without requiring company sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience managing budgets and vendors.
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) programs.
- Experience in project management.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: 104,000.00 – 114,400.00 CAD per year.
