Aimbridge Hospitality is looking for an Assistant General Manager to oversee hotel operations, manage departments, and ensure smooth functioning and guest satisfaction. You'll act as the go-to leader in the General Manager's absence, partnering closely to boost revenue, control costs, and develop staff.
What You'll Do
- Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by managing teams and partnering with the General Manager.
- Proactively spot and tackle challenges to ensure efficient daily hotel operations.
- Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff; help all team members grow through development programs and training.
- Maintain clear communication with colleagues and guests.
- Work with financial information and data to support hotel operations.
- Set standards for professional appearance and grooming to meet company guidelines.
- Bring a friendly, service-focused attitude to all guest and teammate interactions.
What We're Looking For
- At least five years of progressive hotel experience (Rooms or Food & Beverage), or a four-year degree with 2–3 years of related experience, or a two-year degree with 3–4 years of related experience.
- A supervisory background is required.
- Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure.
- Must hold or obtain certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.
Technical Stack
- Windows Operating Systems for management and reporting.
