The University of North Alabama Athletics Department is hiring an Assistant Football Coach to focus on the Offensive Line. In this role, you will directly support the head coach in all phases of the football program, providing leadership, instruction, and administrative support to advance the team's vision and competitive success.
What You'll Do
- Assist the head coach and offensive coordinator with coaching the offensive unit.
- Instruct, teach, and coach the offensive line during practices and competitions.
- Assess player performance and provide practical instruction and feedback.
- Conduct video analysis as a teaching and game preparation tool.
- Assist in game strategy, planning, and practice organization.
- Recruit quality student-athletes who meet academic and athletic qualifications.
- Ensure the academic success and eligibility of student-athletes, monitoring performance and providing counsel.
- Assist in retaining current student-athletes as team members.
- Assist with summer camps, scheduling, and program events.
- Attend meetings with alumni and enhance public relations as needed.
- Maintain oversight of program budgets as directed.
- Maintain strict adherence to NCAA, conference, and university rules and policies.
- Coordinate public relations, community service, travel, and technology needs for the team.
- Organize community outreach and alumni support programs.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- A current, valid driver’s license.
- CPR certification, renewed annually.
Nice to Have
- Three to five years of successful collegiate, club, or professional recruiting and coaching experience.
- Proven ability to recruit quality student-athletes, including national recruiting experience.
- Playing or coaching experience at the intercollegiate level.
- Experience with NCAA compliance and knowledge of Division I football rules.
Team & Environment
This position reports directly to the Head Football Coach and is an integral part of the coaching staff.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at the University of North Alabama in Alabama.
