Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is hiring an Assistant Director of Finance to oversee the hotel's general ledger operations and provide direct support to the Director of Finance. You will be responsible for running the Finance, Information Technology, and Purchasing departments efficiently in line with Hyatt Corporate standards while meeting the expectations of guests and owners.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review all journal vouchers, month-end reports, and reconciliations.
- Review preliminary financial statements with the Director of Finance.
- Participate in monthly financial reviews and assist with presenting these reports.
- Assist in supervising Finance, IT, and Purchasing staff, including coaching, counseling, interviewing, training, and evaluating performance.
- Manage on-site accounting functions to ensure proper fiscal management and timely, accurate reporting.
- Handle hotel financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and cash management.
- Perform systems administration, G/L account reconciliations, budget and forecast preparations, inventories, monthly closings, and have full P&L responsibility.
- Assist with managing and ensuring SOX compliance.
- Assist with completing the year-end audit process, reviewing and approving reconciliations and audit work papers.
- Help prepare all monthly and annual financial statements, investigate variances, and manage troubleshooting for cost controls and revenue enhancement.
- Assist with review and completion of end-of-month reporting such as MFR, month-end comments, and ownership reports.
- Assist with Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables functions to ensure timely processing and policy compliance.
- Assist the Director of Finance with special reporting and analysis projects.
Team & Environment
You will support and report directly to the hotel's Director of Finance and oversee staff within the Finance, IT, and Purchasing department.

- Salary: $92,000 - $101,000
