About the Role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the day-to-day financial and operational success of our residential community in Richfield, MN. In this onsite role, you will assist the Community Manager with a wide range of tasks, from financial transactions and resident relations to vendor coordination and team supervision.

What You'll Do

  • Complete daily financial tasks including collecting and posting rent, preparing bank deposits, reconciling accounts, and processing invoices.
  • Operate and maintain the Yardi/OneSite property management software, ensuring data integrity through accurate entry and regular system backups.
  • Review resident accounts for delinquencies, communicate with residents regarding balances, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  • Process vendor invoices by verifying work performed, obtaining approvals, and managing communication between vendors, accounting, and ownership.
  • Follow established procedures for evictions, including providing proper notices and representing the community in court proceedings as required.
  • Process resident move-outs by applying lease terms, calculating applicable fees, and handling security deposit dispositions.
  • Promote resident satisfaction by responding to complaints and service requests in a timely manner and taking action to resolve issues.
  • Act as the on-site supervisor in the Community Manager's absence, delegating daily work and coordinating with maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in managing the owner relationship through meetings, community tours, and providing performance updates.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks like bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and reaching.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and wind.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including being on call during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
