Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Department Manager to uphold outstanding food and service standards aligned with the company's fresh shopping philosophy.
- Provide friendly, assured, and interactive customer service that supports the brand’s fresh experience promise.
- Assist in implementing department strategies and meeting defined performance targets alongside the Department Manager.
- Advance team growth through training, coaching, recognition, and ongoing motivation, while upholding professionalism and discretion.
- Foster a cooperative team environment by leading regular team huddles to communicate goals, recognize achievements, improve product knowledge, and exchange feedback.
- Prepare and cook fresh food items for hot and cold bars and grill areas to bring the brand’s culinary experience to life.
- Assist in daily department tasks to maintain strong customer service, proper product rotation, sufficient staff coverage, and consistent cleanliness.
- Handle administrative duties such as inventory tracking, ordering supplies, processing invoices, creating schedules, and managing payroll tasks.
- Encourage transparent communication and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations across the team.
- Adhere strictly to corporate guidelines with emphasis on Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP standards, and correct equipment operation.
- Assume additional operational responsibilities as needed to support overall store performance.
