Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Department Manager to uphold high standards of food quality and customer service aligned with the company's fresh food values.
- Deliver friendly, professional, and attentive service that enhances the customer experience.
- Assist in implementing department plans and achieving performance targets alongside the Department Manager.
- Contribute to team growth through training, coaching, recognition, and maintaining professional integrity.
- Foster a cooperative team environment by leading regular team meetings to communicate goals, recognize achievements, improve product knowledge, and gather feedback.
- Prepare and cook fresh food items for hot and cold bars and grill stations to maintain quality and consistency.
- Assist with daily department tasks including customer service, product rotation, visual presentation, staffing coordination, and cleanliness.
- Handle administrative duties such as inventory tracking, ordering supplies, processing invoices, creating schedules, and managing payroll tasks.
- Encourage open communication and ensure team compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere strictly to corporate guidelines with emphasis on health and safety, food safety protocols, HACCP standards, and correct equipment operation.
- Assume additional operational responsibilities as needed to support store performance.

- Work closely with the Department Manager to execute departmental strategies and achieve stated goals and performance objectives.
- Support team development through training, coaching, motivation, and recognition while maintaining a high level of trust, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Build a positive, collaborative team culture by leading regular huddles to share goals, celebrate successes, strengthen product knowledge, and encourage two-way feedback.
- Bring our food experience to life by preparing and cooking fresh offerings for our hot and cold bar and grill stations.
- Support daily department operations to ensure excellent customer service, effective merchandising and rotation, adequate staffing coverage, and consistently high cleanliness standards.
- Provide office and administrative support including inventory management, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, and payroll functions.
- Promote clear communication and adherence to company policies and government regulations to support compliance across the team.
- Follow all corporate policies and procedures with a strong focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP compliance, and proper equipment use.
- Support store operations by assuming other related duties on a periodic basis.
