Oversee the continuous operation of biomethane production facilities, ensuring optimal performance and technical reliability. You will coordinate with remote control teams to maintain 24/7 plant functionality, adjusting operating instructions based on real-time conditions and system feedback.
What You'll Do
Monitor daily production output and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur. Maintain up-to-date operational procedures and communicate plant status clearly to internal management, joint venture partners, and external stakeholders. Lead data accuracy efforts in the CMMS by validating maintenance records and reliability metrics.
Compile technical information for regulatory and environmental reporting, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Support health and safety initiatives by integrating company policies into field practices and maintaining critical safety systems. Participate in root cause investigations following incidents or failures, contributing technical insight to prevent recurrence.
Lead small-scale operational projects and propose improvements to reduce asset downtime. Provide on-site support during critical interventions and collaborate with suppliers as needed. Fulfill on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, responding promptly to urgent operational needs.
Requirements
You hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering and have 3–5 years of experience in field operations or maintenance. You are skilled in interpreting P&IDs, electrical schematics, and functional diagrams, with demonstrated experience using CMMS platforms and standard IT tools like Google Docs and Sheets.
You communicate clearly and methodically, both in writing and verbally, producing accurate reports and guiding team members effectively. You operate independently while recognizing technical and organizational boundaries. Your approach is solution-focused, analytical, and consistent with safety-first principles. Experience with gas processing systems—particularly biogas, CNG, or LNG—is an advantage.
