CitiPower and Powercor is hiring an Asset Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Create, evaluate, and execute asset management strategies for underground cables and distribution infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Investigate failures of physical assets to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Design and update asset management plans and maintenance protocols to support safe, reliable, and sustainable network performance.
  • Perform audits to verify that maintenance tasks comply with established procedures and standards.
  • Manage workload priorities to effectively deliver on asset strategy objectives.
  • Support the development and oversight of capital and operational budgets related to network asset management.
  • Assist in identifying and applying process improvements across systems, tools, reporting, and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Support the adoption of emerging technologies and industry best practices to optimize asset performance.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals.
  • Ensure stakeholder involvement in creating and executing asset-related plans, procedures, and instructions for best results.
