Colas Rail UK is hiring an Arpenteur (Surveyor) for its subsidiary operating in the Mauricie/Centre-du-Québec region. This role is central to the execution of major civil engineering projects, requiring precise field work and close collaboration with construction teams.
What You'll Do
- Perform the layout of various civil engineering works, including road foundation, center line, chainage staking, stations, and slopes.
- Collaborate with preparation and paving team leaders to meet their layout and quantity requirements.
- Conduct quantity surveys and Total Quality Control (TQC).
- Calculate quantities from data collected on site.
- Perform layout and quantity surveys for work completed by subcontractors in paving, such as guardrails, curbs, and markings.
- Complete all other tasks necessary for the progress of the work.
What We're Looking For
- A valid competency card and registration in good standing with the Commission de la Construction du Québec.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license.
- A resourceful, meticulous, and vigilant approach to work.
- A strong concern for precision.
