Acuity International is seeking an Armed Security Supervisor to lead armed guard teams and ensure the security of facility perimeters and high-risk areas. In this role, you will be responsible for upholding compliance with ICE Performance-Based National Detention Standards while directing staff and managing critical security operations.

What You'll Do

Oversee armed guard teams across all shifts
Monitor use of force protocols and weapons handling
Coordinate detainee transport and external security operations
Train staff on tactical response and emergency procedures
Patrol facility perimeter and secure entry/exit points
Escort detainees during external movements
Respond to security breaches and emergencies
Maintain weapons and tactical gear readiness
Provide direction and guidance to security staff
Implement emergency plans and achieve rapid recovery of program support services
Enforce safety standards, risk monitoring, and risk management protocols

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED
3–5 years of experience in armed security, military police, or law enforcement
Familiarity with ICE Performance-Based National Detention Standards (PBNDS)
Familiarity with detainee transport protocols, perimeter security, and emergency response procedures
Strong multitasking, detail orientation, organization, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to obtain and maintain favorable background investigations
Proficiency in English and ability to receive and understand detailed information
Proficiency with computers, common office equipment, and the MS Office suite
Ability to meet contract requirements for all immunizations
Ability to work full-time hours, weekends, and holidays
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be a US citizen or permanent resident and have resided in the US for 3 of the past 5 years

Nice to Have

Associate or bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Homeland Security, or a related field
1–2 years in a supervisory role
Law enforcement or military background
ORR or ICE experience
CPR/First Aid certification
Active firearms certification, Use of Force, and defensive tactics training
Bilingual language skills
Favorable federal investigation at the Tier 2 level or higher within the last 24 months
Ability to travel
