Drive Sales Growth in the Aesthetic Medical Industry
As an Area Sales Manager, you'll lead business development across a dedicated Southeast territory, focusing on expanding adoption of a leading portfolio of aesthetic laser devices. Your primary responsibility will be identifying and converting new clients through proactive outreach, strategic planning, and in-person engagement with medical and aesthetic practices.
You’ll build trust with key decision-makers, uncover operational and clinical challenges, and position innovative solutions that deliver measurable outcomes. Success requires a consultative approach—emphasizing value over price, guiding prospects through complex buying processes, and consistently closing deals within company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute territory plans using structured route optimization and high-volume lead generation via cold outreach and referrals
- Conduct live product demonstrations and educational sessions for diverse clinical audiences
- Maintain accurate forecasts, CRM updates, and administrative records with consistency
- Represent the brand at trade shows, key opinion leader events, and local market functions
- Travel frequently within the region, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Communicate technical and clinical benefits clearly to non-technical buyers
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategy with market demands
Qualifications
Candidates must bring 5–10+ years of experience selling capital equipment, ideally within aesthetic medicine or a related clinical technology field. You should have a history of exceeding targets in multi-stakeholder sales environments and possess exceptional organizational discipline.
Essential capabilities include pipeline management, strategic negotiation, and the physical ability to transport and demonstrate equipment. A valid driver’s license and clean record are required. Preference is given to top-tier performers with a bachelor’s degree in science, business, or communications.
Compensation & Work Environment
This is a field-based position requiring 50–75% regional travel. You’ll operate autonomously within an exclusive territory, supported by a competitive base salary and uncapped commission structure with an On-Target Earnings potential of $265,000. Additional benefits include a monthly car allowance, comprehensive medical coverage, and 401(k) options.
