PMCL-JAZZ is hiring an Area Sales Manager to drive growth and manage sales operations in the Hyderabad region. You will play a pivotal role in achieving regional targets for Postpaid Sales, Mobile Wallet Activation, Remittances, and Retail/Franchise Business Development.
What You'll Do
- Visit market areas to build relationships with retailers and franchise owners.
- Mentor team members, take ownership of their issues, and escalate appropriately to improve efficiency.
- Devise and execute plans to increase sales of handsets, wifi devices, remittances, and postpaid numbers.
- Coordinate with Commercial Planning to design campaigns that increase Postpaid business penetration.
- Establish, develop, and maintain the distribution and retail network throughout your assigned region.
- Develop franchise business and implement company policy regarding the routing of distribution officers.
- Manage franchise and retail channels by motivating and counseling stakeholders and explaining profitability models.
- Achieve monthly KPI targets including Postpaid Sales, Remittances, Cash in, MNP, Gross ads, Jazz Cash Wallets, and 4G penetration.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders like DFS Executives, Sales Operations, Channel Planning, and Regional Technical Teams.
- Strengthen the channel and meet all assigned targets.
What We're Looking For
- 6 to 10 years of experience in sales distribution, channel development, and retail management.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institute.
- A track record of handling challenging projects with end-to-end responsibility from planning through rollout and feedback.
- Proven ability to supervise sales and franchise management teams to improve channel effectiveness.
- Excellent communication skills to advocate your point of view with professionalism, maturity, and a holistic perspective.
- Demonstrated resilience, professionalism, maturity, and responsibility.
Team & Environment
You will report to the Regional Sales Head and lead a team of Territory Sales Supervisors and Franchise Service Executives.
Work Mode
This role is based in Hyderabad and operates on a local, in-city work model.
