Merck & Co., Inc. (MSD) is looking for an Area Manager, Alliance & Customer Engagement to lead vaccine business partnerships and customer engagement within an assigned region. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic distributor management, key opinion leader development, and ecosystem building while ensuring full compliance.

What You'll Do

Deeply understand regional vaccine market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer insights to develop and execute business plans.
Collaborate closely with the partner Zhifei team to achieve business targets and ensure sustainable growth.
Implement joint management mechanisms, including regular communication, regional management, and business follow-up processes.
Assist Zhifei in business diagnosis and streamlining to ensure alignment and execution of key objectives.
Participate in Zhifei's regional meetings to convey core marketing information and coordinate with Zhifei managers.
Assist frontline Zhifei managers in enhancing team capabilities and provide management advice.
Cultivate national and regional KOLs and speakers within the CDC system through professional visits and concept development.
Promote the execution of academic activities within the assigned region.
Contribute to building and improving the vaccine ecosystem, optimizing channel management for smooth supply.
Standardize vaccination service processes and promote the establishment of online/offline appointment and education systems.
Focus on advancing the implementation of major projects such as PIP/CIP within the region.
Promote large-scale client vaccinations in schools and enterprises, and develop innovative channels like private hospitals.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree or higher in medicine, marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Good influencing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external key decision-makers and customers.
Reasonable business analysis skills, and proficiency in strategic planning and execution.
A proactive mindset, with good learning ability and adaptability.
