About the Role

Cushman & Wakefield is hiring a Director, Transaction Management to join our Portfolio Advisory Group. In this role, you will be dedicated to one or more major client accounts, collaborating closely to support their strategic real estate vision. You will be responsible for the day-to-day transaction management of large strategic initiatives and complex enterprise transactions across various asset classes.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with all aspects of client relationship management and required reporting.
  • Partner with client Corporate Real Estate teams to understand requirements and build transactional strategies.
  • Lead and facilitate client presentations and participate in key meetings and business reviews.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor direct reports to ensure a highly engaged team.
  • Implement portfolio plans aligned with the client's real estate goals and objectives.
  • Initiate new transactions, dispositions, and renewals.
  • Manage Cushman & Wakefield and third-party brokerage resources throughout transactions.
  • Lead, direct, and provide strategic guidance to brokers and clients on transactions.
  • Execute complex, large transactions with a high-level of knowledge.
  • Partner with senior-level client operational groups to identify real estate needs and opportunities.
  • Negotiate and manage transactions consistently on a global scale.
  • Oversee legal review of all client leased documents.
  • Maintain and monitor process reporting using a variety of tools.
  • Perform market and financial analysis, ensuring accurate data for each transaction.
  • Engage and collaborate with Project Managers, Facility Managers, and other consultants as required.
  • Manage process documents and revenue projections and tracking.
  • Complete transaction post-mortems and client surveys to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Lead the development of strategic plans and provide strategic real estate advice.
  • Proactively identify potential pull-forward strategies and occupancy cost savings strategies.
  • Develop occupancy expansion and contraction strategies.
  • Produce and support business case development.
  • Oversee reports, data, and financial analyses for strategic plans.
  • Coordinate and implement reporting requirements, including standardized reports and templates.
  • Collect and enter portfolio data ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Provide instruction, guidelines, and technical support to field agents and service partners.
  • Prepare Close Out reports and value-add calculations for all transactions.
  • Modify and format existing generic process documents and playbooks to meet client requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and innovations.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in a corporate services role balancing internal and external client needs.
  • A valid Real Estate license.
  • Experience with high-level, complex transaction management, including contract management and legal documentation.
  • Proven effective project management skills to identify tasks and coordinate timely completion.
  • Ability to lead a team in a cohesive, performance-measured environment.
  • Well-developed organizational skills to balance multiple responsibilities and deliverables.
  • Well-developed financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
