Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, is hiring a field-based Area Access Executive. In this role, you will champion market access objectives within an assigned region, serving as the primary liaison for top-tier customers while developing and executing targeted local strategies.
What You'll Do
- Act as Geography 'Quarterback': Serve as primary champion for the assigned region, setting direction for AbbVie's market access objectives and acting as principal liaison for top-tier customers.
- Develop and implement targeted local market access strategies, creating influence maps to identify key customers and evaluate emerging channels.
- Collaborate with and support the Area Access Director in planning and executing direct Area customer contracts, ensuring compliance with strategy.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, manage day-to-day engagements, and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Centers of Excellence, Area Directors, FRMs) to share insights and streamline efforts.
- Identify new opportunities within the region, recommend initiatives to expand access, and stay informed of industry trends.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, leveraging data analytics to assess contract effectiveness and refine performance.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 5+ years sales management (District Manager or Regional Manager preferred).
- Account management and/or marketing experience in a healthcare or related business.
- Proven track record of operating effectively in a large, complex geography and influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Proven capability in contract negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and driving commercial results.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a primary point of contact with strong communication, collaboration, and coordination skills in a matrixed organization.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of regional payer landscapes, healthcare policies, and key customer types (IDNs, VISNs, Employers).
- Proficiency in data analytics and experience utilizing tools or platforms to inform strategy.
- Positive, solutions-oriented attitude with a track record of managing complexity.
