Environmental Science Associates is hiring an Archaeological Field Technician (On-Call)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct archaeological field surveys and excavations.
  • Document and record findings using appropriate methods and tools.
  • Assist in the identification and preservation of cultural resources.
  • Prepare and maintain field notes and reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met.
  • Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Maintain equipment and tools used in fieldwork.
  • Communicate findings to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Support the development of archaeological reports and publications.
  • Participate in training and development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to the overall success of archaeological projects.
  • Assist in the management of archaeological sites.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
