Inventive Food Technology is hiring a Warehouse Apprentice to manage the flow of raw materials in our industrial facility. You'll be responsible for receiving, handling, and shipping powders and liquids while operating warehouse machinery and upholding strict safety and food safety standards.

What You'll Do

Supply, receive, and weigh raw materials in powder and liquid form.
Handle and arrange materials packaged in bags, carboys, and drums.
Operate warehouse machinery and equipment, including forklifts and hydraulic pallet jacks.
Apply and maintain safety and food safety protocols throughout operations.
Record supply and weighing processes accurately.
Rotate shifts as required by the operational schedule.
Consult the SAP system for inventory management.

What We're Looking For

A minimum of 1 year of experience working in an industrial warehouse.
Proficiency in handling a hydraulic pallet jack.
Experience handling liquids in containers like carboys and drums.
Ability to lift 25kg for approximately 70% of the workday.
Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Basic knowledge of industrial safety and proper PPE use.
Skill in basic unit conversions.
Proficiency using the basic Microsoft Office package.
Knowledge of food safety and quality protocols.
Basic understanding of FIFO and LIFO inventory methods.

Nice to Have

Experience handling a counterbalanced forklift (Double Reach).
Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Netsuite, Infor, or Microsoft Dynamics (experience with SAP is a plus).
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices for storage and documentation.
