The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is hiring an Appointment Business Center Scheduler I/II (Access Coordinator). In this call center role, you will answer telephones and coordinate appointments, playing a crucial part in supporting patient care activities.
What You'll Do
- Schedule, reschedule, coordinate, and cancel appointments
- Input and update accurate patient information
- Communicate accurate and complete information
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic proficiency with computers, preferably MS Office
- Excellent telephone etiquette skills
- General knowledge of office machines like printers and scanners
- Level I: One (1) year of customer service experience
- Level II: Two (2) years of customer service experience
Nice to Have
- Call center experience
- Experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology

- Level I: $15.00/hour ($31,200 annually)
- Level II: $15.26/hour ($31,740.80 annually)
