The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is hiring an Appointment Business Center Scheduler I/II (Access Coordinator) to support patient care activities. In this call center role, you will coordinate appointments and communicate directly with patients.
What You'll Do
- Schedule, reschedule, coordinate, and cancel appointments.
- Input and update accurate patient information.
- Communicate accurate and complete information to patients.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient and organizational data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic proficiency with computers, preferably MS Office.
- Excellent telephone etiquette skills.
- General knowledge of office machines including printers and scanners.
- For Level I: One (1) year of customer service experience.
- For Level II: Two (2) years of customer service experience.
Nice to Have
- Call center experience.
- Experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology.

- Compensation: Level I: $15.00/hr ($31,200 yr). Level II: $15.26/hr ($31,740.80 yr).
