Responsibilities
- Interpret customer inquiries and technical specifications to design suitable equipment solutions.
- Create process designs that meet customer needs while optimizing profitability.
- Collaborate with engineering specialists on complex projects to ensure accurate design and process guarantees.
- Visit customer sites to gather technical details and provide on-site support.
- Support technical evaluation and risk analysis of customer requests.
- Prepare cost estimates following company guidelines.
- Set pricing based on approved mark-up and commission structures.
- Identify required drawings for quotations and coordinate their development.
- Assess technical and commercial risks related to proposals.
- Prepare, revise, and issue formal customer quotations.
- Follow up on all customer communications during the quoting process.
- Develop sales strategies for opportunities in coordination with sales teams and agents.
- Meet with customers after proposal submission to discuss and negotiate terms.
- Provide management with updates on proposal progress and activities.
- Support the development and updating of sales materials using Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe, and web-based platforms.
- Secure project awards by negotiating technical options, pricing, and terms and conditions.
- Coordinate with project management or master scheduling to confirm delivery timelines.
- Review purchase orders, specifications, and commercial terms before approving acceptance.
- Take ownership of finalizing project scope, resolving all technical and commercial issues, and securing order approval.
- Assemble and deliver complete project handover documentation.
- Work with leadership to identify training and tools needed for professional growth.
- Perform additional duties aligned with skills and experience as assigned.
