Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain application servers and system environments
- Monitor system performance and resolve incidents promptly
- Apply patches, updates, and security controls across platforms
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy software
- Manage user access and permissions for applications and databases
- Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures
- Support disaster recovery and backup operations
- Troubleshoot application and system-level issues
- Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements
- Perform capacity planning and system optimization
- Administer databases and assist with query performance
- Configure and manage web servers and middleware
- Support identity and access management solutions
- Implement monitoring tools for system health and availability
- Assist in cloud infrastructure management when applicable
- Follow change management processes for system modifications
- Respond to security alerts and assist in incident response
- Maintain version control for configuration files
- Support integration between systems and third-party services
- Provide technical support for end users and internal teams
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical systems
- Ensure data integrity across application environments
- Assist with migration of legacy systems to modern platforms
- Work with network teams to resolve connectivity issues
- Enforce IT policies related to system usage and access
