Field Applications Specialist – Flow Cytometry, South-Western Germany
Role Overview
In this role, you will serve as a technical advisor and application expert for flow cytometry solutions, supporting both current and prospective customers in clinical research and diagnostic laboratories. Based in South-Western Germany, you will work independently to demonstrate instruments, reagents, and software, ensuring clients fully understand system capabilities and optimal workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert guidance on flow cytometry applications, including multi-color panel design, sample processing, and data interpretation
- Conduct on-site and virtual product demonstrations, workflow assessments, and training sessions for customers and internal teams
- Collaborate closely with sales colleagues to address technical inquiries and support the achievement of commercial goals
- Assist customers and service engineers in troubleshooting instrument and application challenges
- Represent the organization at scientific conferences, trade fairs, and educational workshops
Qualifications
A degree in biology, biotechnology, medicine, chemistry, physics, or a related discipline is required. Candidates must have several years of hands-on experience with multi-color flow cytometry, including sample preparation and data analysis. Strong fluency in both written and spoken German and English is essential.
Applicants should be comfortable traveling 50–75% of the time within the region and beyond, and must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
