Regal Rexnord is hiring an Application Engineer to serve as a trusted technical resource for our Nook and Thomson product lines. In this role, you will ensure the accurate and effective use of our products by translating complex customer requirements into well-reasoned, safe, and cost-effective solutions.
What You'll Do
- Provide accurate and timely product selection guidance based on customer requirements.
- Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, including Product Design, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
- Communicate professionally across multiple channels, including phone, email, and video conferencing.
- Deliver basic post-sales support, including troubleshooting and resolving technical inquiries.
- Leverage internal resources to address and resolve customer needs.
- Prepare and document pricing proposals for modified or customized product configurations.
- Support field sales teams in managing accounts and driving product direction, profitability, and growth.
- Contribute to the development of standard procedures and policies that promote lean office practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Nice to Have
- Prior exposure to application engineering or technical support.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies.
