Role Overview
This position focuses on enhancing electric submersible pump (ESP) system performance by interpreting live SCADA data and well bore schematics. The engineer ensures designs are technically sound, operationally efficient, and aligned with customer needs through detailed analysis and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine real-time SCADA outputs and well configuration diagrams to refine ESP design recommendations
- Collaborate with sales personnel to assess project opportunities and improve technical proposals
- Lead internal and client-facing design reviews to validate engineering solutions
- Support new product development by coordinating engineering input and technical requirements
- Deliver direct technical assistance to customers, including comparative lift performance evaluations
- Complete assigned engineering tasks in alignment with project timelines
- Follow all company and health, safety, and environment (HSE) protocols
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of ESP systems, including product specifications, operational workflows, and field applications
- Strong grasp of production planning methods, quality assurance practices, and cost analysis principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with SCADA platforms
- Ability to work seated for extended periods while using computer systems
- Willingness to travel occasionally, with trips expected to remain under 10% of work time
