What You'll Do
- Develop architectural application designs for new deals and major change requests.
- Create an enterprise-wide architecture ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and manageable.
- Manage application assets and direct development efforts to improve solution delivery and agility.
- Guide the construction and assembly of application components and services.
- Maintain frameworks and artefacts used in application implementation.
- Ensure application architecture paradigms such as SOA and microservices are implemented.
- Provide solutions for RFPs from clients and ensure overall design assurance.
- Develop a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be-solutions to match business objectives.
- Analyze technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to set a collaboration design framework.
- Create complete RFPs based on client needs and technology stacks.
- Provide technical leadership to the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions.
- Define current state solutions and identify improvements to define target state solutions.
- Articulate and sell architectural targets, recommendations, and reusable patterns.
- Evaluate and recommend solutions to integrate with the overall technology ecosystem.
- Track industry and application trends and relate these to planning IT needs.
- Provide technical and strategic inputs during the project planning phase.
- Conduct account mining to find opportunities in existing clients.
- Collaborate with relevant parties to review solution objectives and constraints.
- Identify implementation risks and potential impacts.
- Create new revenue streams within applications as APIs.
- Bring knowledge of automation in application by embracing Agile and dev-ops principles.
- Understand application requirements and design a standardized application.
- Create Intellectual Property in forms of services, patterns, models, and organizational approaches.
- Design patterns, best practices, and reusable applications.
- Ensure system capabilities are consumed by system components and set criteria for evaluating technical and business value.
- Provide a platform to create standardized tools and uniform design.
- Coordinate input on risks, costs, and opportunities for concepts.
- Develop customized applications for customers aligned with their needs.
- Perform thorough design and code reviews, keeping security in mind.
- Understand design and production procedures and standards to create prototypes and finished products.
- Work closely with systems analysts, software developers, data managers, and other team members.
- Offer viable solutions for various systems and architectures to different types of businesses.
- Integrate new and existing systems to eliminate problems and maintain data structure.
- Transform applications into digital form and implement mesh app and service architecture supporting IOT, blockchain, machine learning, etc.
- Perform cloud transformation (migration) including understanding non-functional requirements and producing artefacts.
- Perform cloud transformation (modernization) including defining target architecture in the Integration space.
