UWorld, LLC is seeking an AP Psychology Teacher - Curriculum Developer to contribute to our web-based AP Psychology Question Bank. In this role, you will write high-quality questions and rationales, working closely with an onsite content development team to build an exceptional AP preparation product.
What You'll Do
- Develop content for the online AP Psychology Question Bank.
- Independently plan and execute question development based on directives from the onsite team and management.
- Write high-quality, AP-style questions with brief, comprehensive rationales.
- Generate content reflecting current curriculum standards, research, and exam practices.
- Receive and adjust content based on constructive feedback from the team and management.
- Collaborate with management, team members, and support teams to meet production deadlines.
- Develop marketing materials and participate in online forums and webinars to aid marketing efforts.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Five years of experience teaching AP Psychology in high school or freshman-level Psychology in college.
- Two years of experience writing assessment questions at the AP Psychology exam level.
- Extensive knowledge of the AP Psychology curriculum concepts.
- Proven ability to write high-quality AP Psychology questions and rationales.
- Acute attention to detail and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with proven capacity to execute conceptual ideas.
- Ability to work independently within a dynamic team environment.
- Aptitude for adapting quickly and collaborating effectively.
- Ability to provide, receive, and respond to feedback positively.
- Solid organizational, prioritization, and self-motivation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and a working knowledge of information technology (IT).
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in Psychology.
- AP Reader, AP Table Leader, or AP Consultant experience.
- Psychology research experience.
