UWorld, LLC is looking for an AP Chemistry Teacher - Curriculum Developer to help build and refine content for our web-based AP Chemistry Question Bank. You will craft authentic assessment materials and collaborate with our team to support students preparing for the AP Chemistry exam.
What You'll Do
- Develop high-quality content for the online AP Chemistry Question Bank.
- Write rigorous, AP-style questions paired with clear, comprehensive rationales.
- Generate content that aligns with current curriculum standards, exam practices, and research.
- Revise content based on constructive feedback from the onsite Chemistry team and management.
- Collaborate with management, team members, and support teams to meet production deadlines.
- Develop marketing materials and participate in online forums and webinars to increase brand recognition.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Five years of experience teaching AP Chemistry in high school or freshman-level Chemistry in college.
- Two years of experience writing assessment questions at the AP Chemistry exam level.
- Extensive knowledge of the AP Chemistry curriculum concepts.
- Proven ability to write high-quality AP Chemistry questions and rationales.
- Acute attention to detail and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with capacity to execute conceptual ideas.
- Ability to work independently within a dynamic team environment.
- Aptitude for adapting quickly, collaborating effectively, and providing/receiving feedback positively.
- Solid organizational, prioritization, and self-motivation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and a working knowledge of information technology (IT).
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Sciences.
- AP Reader, AP Table Leader, or AP Consultant experience.
- Research experience in the Chemical Sciences.
