On Location is hiring an AP Associate - FIFA World Cup 26™ to manage accounting activities within our division for the tournament. This role is a hands-on finance position responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process, performing varied accounting, analysis, and operational activities for FIFA entities.
What You'll Do
- Process invoices and payments accurately and timely
- Maintain positive vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies
- Monitor vendor onboarding and maintenance
- Ensure payments made outside the financial system are recorded
- Communicate information regarding future payments to support cash forecasting
- Escalate overdue payments to management
- Prepare monthly expense reports for accuracy review and generate ad hoc reports
- Help with AP-related month-end closing procedures
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience
- Experience working with multinational companies and foreign currency
- Understanding of US GAAP and expense recognition
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Adept at using a supplier portal, a sophisticated ERP, and a banking portal
- Pro-active, flexible, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to prioritize and balance work
Nice to Have
- High-volume, fast-paced accounts payable experience within Events or Hospitality
- NetSuite experience
