About the Role

Carl Zeiss Vision Canada Inc. is hiring a Senior Anterior Consumables Specialist to generate new business and protect the installed base of equipment and consumables in the mid-central US region. In this role, you will commit to an annual sales budget, develop a business plan, and manage monthly sales forecasting.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain currency of, and adhere to, applicable GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures.
  • Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas for your region while managing within a specific expense budget.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure lead sharing, installed base protection, new business consumable/liquids sales, and account development.
  • Make scheduled personalized sales demonstrations to surgeons, operating room staff, and administration at facilities in your region.
  • Maintain, analyze, and utilize territory records and other information to efficiently organize, plan, execute, and measure results.
  • Educate and follow up with surgeons, operating room staff, and administration on the operation, utilization, and application of our product to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and constructive written and oral communications to management regarding expected sales and planned monthly activity.
  • Operate a specific cost center to control sales, expenses, inventory, and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain SFDC reports, dashboards, and updates relative to opportunities, leads, and sales funnel.
  • Develop and implement synergy opportunities among other Zeiss companies, Carl Zeiss Meditec field service, and other corporate partners.
  • Serve as a technical product expert and resource for colleagues and management within the Anterior Consumable Segment Team.
  • Engage in requested training and development of colleagues within the Anterior Consumable Segment Team.

What We're Looking For

  • A four-year college degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of ophthalmology sales experience.
  • A high level of technical/clinical product knowledge.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Work Mode

This role is local-country, covering the Pennsylvania/Maryland area, which comprises the mid-central region territory.
