Netrix Global is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to play a strategic role in designing scalable data solutions and transforming complex, multi-source enterprise data into actionable insights. The role focuses on profitability analysis, financial reporting, forecasting, operational performance tracking, and customer reporting across the Managed Services organization.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable BI and reporting architectures.
- Define data models (star/snowflake schemas) to support operational and customer analytics.
- Architect and optimize data pipelines integrating ServiceNow, SFTP, SQL databases, and other enterprise systems.
- Implement incremental data loading strategies (watermark logic, automation, scheduling).
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory or equivalent tools.
- Consolidate multiple enterprise data sources into centralized reporting layers.
- Ensure data integrity, validation, reconciliation, and performance optimization.
- Improve query performance and reporting efficiency across systems.
- Design and develop executive-level dashboards using Power BI.
- Develop paginated reports for automated and scheduled customer reporting.
- Build scalable, reusable Power BI semantic models.
- Leverage advanced DAX and Power Query (M language) for complex business calculations.
- Lead and mentor BI Analysts, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of reporting solutions.
- Manage end-to-end BI initiatives, including requirement gathering, scoping, planning, and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and reporting standards.
- Present insights, project updates, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, priorities, and delivery timelines across multiple projects.
- Own end-to-end monthly customer reporting for Managed Services clients.
- Standardize reporting frameworks across customers.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and automated delivery of reports.
- Establish reporting standards, documentation, and data dictionaries.
- Implement quality checks and monitoring mechanisms for BI assets.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
- 5–8 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
- Advanced expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, paginated reports).
- Strong SQL skills (performance tuning, stored procedures, complex joins).
- Hands-on experience with API integrations and enterprise data consolidation.
- Experience designing and maintaining data warehouse models.
- Exposure to Azure data ecosystem (ADF, Azure SQL, Storage, Synapse preferred).
- Strong experience in financial and operational reporting environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow) data models.
- Experience modelling Cases/Incident/Problem/Change data.
- Experience modelling Contact Center data.
- Experience modelling SLA calculations.
- Experience modelling Financial cost & revenue metrics.
- Experience supporting executive-level and customer-facing reporting.
- Azure / Power BI certifications are a plus.
