Eurofins Scientific is seeking a skilled Analytical Support Scientist to join our laboratory team. This is a hands-on, laboratory-based position where you will perform sample management, mechanical force testing, and other characterization activities for components and materials. You will play a key support role in data compilation, report authoring, and ensuring our processes meet rigorous standards.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with other engineers to evaluate, develop, qualify, and implement new components and container closure systems.
- Support formulation and process development groups to comply with regulatory requirements and guidance documents.
- Author and/or review engineering documentation such as component drawings, specifications, risk analyses, and tolerance stack analyses.
- Execute designated test methods and protocols associated with components and devices.
- Provide general laboratory support, including ordering reagents, maintaining equipment, participating in lab inspections, and supporting continuous improvement.
- Prepare data summary presentations, provide data verification support, compile data, and use lab-based systems like electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Support additional biotherapeutics development activities using techniques such as HPLC, Capillary Gel Electrophoresis (CGE), Imaged Capillary Electrophoresis (iCE), spectroscopy, light obscuration, and microflow imaging.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific/engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical Parenteral Packaging Development.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with eLN, Bluehill Software, ISO test methods (including ISO 11040 and ISO 80369), US/EP Pharmacopoeia, and other relevant standards.
- Strong computer skills and experience with lab-based computer systems.
- Familiarity with standard biotherapeutics analytical techniques such as HPLC, CGE, iCE, and spectroscopy.
