What You'll Do
Lead sales initiatives for automated immunoassay systems and associated consumables across a defined European territory. Spend approximately 75% of your time in the field, engaging directly with clients to understand their scientific workflows and identify opportunities to enhance their capabilities. Apply consultative selling techniques to uncover customer needs, position product value, and close deals that align with long-term business goals.
Collaborate closely with internal commercial teams to ensure a unified approach to client outreach and solution delivery. Deliver clear, technically accurate presentations that highlight product features, applications, and competitive strengths. Maintain precise forecasts for instrument and reagent sales, and use Salesforce.com to track leads, manage customer interactions, and monitor pipeline progression.
Requirements
You bring at least five years of experience in the life sciences tools sector, with a minimum of two years focused on sales within a related technical domain. You are fluent in German (native level) and proficient in English (C1–C2), with strong communication skills in both spoken and written forms. You can engage customers on technical topics, ask insightful questions, and translate complex information into compelling value propositions.
Proven ability in time and territory management is essential, along with a self-driven mindset and the ability to operate independently. You are comfortable presenting to scientific audiences, skilled in negotiation and problem-solving, and committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Familiarity with laboratory methods, reagents, and equipment used in biopharmaceutical research and development is required.
