Responsibilities
- Assist in completing month-end close and financial reporting for Energy Solutions operations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial data
- Enhance financial reporting efficiency by correctly recording transactions, executing closing procedures, and preparing reconciliations
- Adhere to established financial controls and accounting standards in all reporting activities
- Partner with Risk, Shared Services, and Finance teams to develop and maintain strong control frameworks
- Document core financial reporting processes to ensure consistency and compliance
- Provide timely financial data to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Engage with Finance Business Partners to identify and fulfill data needs
- Oversee systems and workflows to ensure accurate and efficient data capture and distribution
- Coordinate the gathering of performance metrics from multiple sources
- Produce monthly financial statements and recurring reports for business units and corporate finance
- Maintain data integrity across systems to ensure traceability and audit readiness
- Collaborate with business and corporate teams to align technical accounting rules with operational activity
- Partner with Information Management to deploy tools that strengthen controls and automate processes
- Challenge traditional finance methods by reducing manual entries and improving data quality
- Define user requirements and manage user acceptance testing for finance systems
- Ensure proper integration of accounting rules and controls during system rollouts
- Develop performance metrics to monitor and improve team effectiveness
- Foster a culture focused on continuous process enhancement
- Strengthen controls while improving reporting speed and accuracy
- Optimize integration between SAP, Aspect, HFM, Blackline, and other platforms
- Refine system-based processes to reduce data entry and retrieval effort
- Lead efforts to standardize and automate reporting through ongoing improvements
