Kensington is hiring an Analyst, Financial Planning & Reporting

Responsibilities

  • Help prepare consolidated financial statements for multiple entities operating in different currencies.
  • Support the creation of consolidation schedules, intercompany eliminations, and reporting reconciliation analyses.
  • Keep updated mappings between statutory financial reporting and internal management reporting frameworks.
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
  • Conduct variance analysis and assist in developing explanatory commentary for reports.
  • Support the production of monthly management reporting, including KPI dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations for financial variances.
  • Work with business units to understand financial outcomes and key cost factors.
  • Turn financial data into meaningful insights that support strategic decisions.
  • Take ownership of the monthly management reporting package, including dashboards and analytics.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly forecasting updates.
  • Help maintain financial planning templates and driver-based forecasting models.
  • Coordinate data collection from cross-functional teams during planning periods.
  • Ensure operational inputs align with financial forecasts.
  • Support improvements in financial reporting processes using Excel, Power Query, and similar tools.
  • Assist with ERP system implementation and enhancements to financial platforms.
  • Help automate routine reporting and reconciliation tasks.
  • Maintain data accuracy and support enhancements to reporting infrastructure.
  • Contribute to report development using tools such as Vena or Power BI.
  • Support documentation and standardization of financial reporting procedures.
  • Adapt effectively to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Assist with financial integration following acquisitions or organizational changes.
  • Collaborate with FP&A team members and stakeholders across departments.
  • Support senior staff with special projects and on-demand financial analysis.
  • Promote a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive team environment.
