Warner Music Group is hiring an Analyst, Catalog Artist Royalties to manage rate entry and statement processing for recording artists and producers. You will be responsible for ensuring royalty accounts are accurately maintained and statements are issued promptly.
What You'll Do
- Create and maintain royalty account information for recipients in WMG’s royalty system.
- Review and analyze recording and producer agreements to identify royalty rates and payee information.
- Direct the Income Tracking Team on applying contractual terms to third-party licensing income.
- Support the Royalty Audit Team with past statement information.
- Link record products to the correct contractual terms in the royalty system.
- Perform and review adjustments to existing royalty rate set-ups.
- Process and review quarterly and monthly royalty statements for accuracy.
- Ensure artist royalty statements are issued on time.
- Work with the Legal team to resolve inquiries and update vendor information.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes by responding to Finance requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in artist royalty administration.
- Willingness to work overtime at the end of each quarterly statement cycle and schedule vacation around these deadlines.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently under pressure.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
- Strong computer and data entry skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access.
Team & Environment
This role is part of the U.S. Shared Services Reporting Department within the Center of Excellence for Shared Services. You will report to the team’s senior management.
Work Mode
This is a local position in Nashville, Tennessee.
