Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) is looking for a client-focused Analyst to join our Commercial Banking team. In this role, you will support small to medium enterprises with tailored financial solutions, contributing meaningful insights to support client relationships and inform credit decisions within a collaborative team.
What You'll Do
- Prepare financial models and credit analysis to assess risk and opportunity.
- Analyse financial and non-financial information to produce high-quality lending submissions.
- Partner closely with Relationship Executives to understand client needs.
- Collaborate with product specialists, prepare reports and monitor portfolio performance.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in business or commercial banking credit, including credit writing and annual reviews.
- Strong financial acumen across balance sheets and P&L.
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders in deadline-driven environments.
- A genuine interest in credit analysis and continuous learning.
- Qualifications in commerce, accounting or a related discipline are required.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to structuring and securities is desirable.
- Candidates with, or working towards, CA or CPA are encouraged to apply.
Team & Environment
You will join a close-knit team of around 20 - 25 experienced Analysts and Relationship Executives, sitting within a collaborative Commercial Banking team.
