Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) is looking for an Analyst to join our Commercial Banking team in Essendon Fields. In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting relationship management for small to medium enterprises, conducting in-depth client and industry research, financial analysis, and risk assessment to drive sustainable business growth.

What You'll Do

Assess credit worthiness, oversee applications, conduct due diligence, and model financial risk.
Prioritize credit management, portfolio monitoring, revenue growth, and loss minimization.
Support business bankers to align client needs, enhancing service and strategizing product offerings.
Maintain data integrity, ensure compliance, and analyse client and prospect data.
Research new prospects, manage credit submissions, and conduct annual reviews promptly.

What We're Looking For

Strong financial analysis and modelling skills with commercial insight across diverse sectors.
Adaptable, both independent and a team player.
The ability to quickly gain an understanding of complex transactions.
Prioritizes risk, compliance, and credit assurance.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

A Business or Commerce degree.
Experience in financial accounting or insolvency.
