BancFirst is hiring a Credit Analyst to join our Commercial Capital division. In this role, you will provide critical support in the ongoing credit evaluation of existing and prospective customers. You will analyze the financial health of commercial borrowers, gather and review credit information, and make recommendations for credit lines.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, Loan Officers, and other professionals to discuss potential SBA credit requests.
- Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
- Prepare financial analysis, financial ratio analysis, and industry research.
- Underwrite credit requests to the standards of bank policy and procedures, as well as SBA SOP.
- Prepare and review loan memorandums to ensure they meet SBA and BancFirst standards.
- Research, identify, and develop new loan opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience analyzing credit data and financial statements for commercial borrowers.
- Strong ability to underwrite credit requests according to established bank and SBA policies.
- Experience preparing detailed financial analysis, ratio analysis, and industry research.
- Skill in preparing and reviewing comprehensive loan memorandums.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, loan officers, and other professionals.
