DAMAC Group is hiring an Analyst to join its investment and acquisition strategy team. In this role, you will lead financial analysis, model investment opportunities, conduct market research, and support due diligence to drive strategic real estate and private equity investments.
What You'll Do
- Lead comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to evaluate high-potential investment opportunities.
- Uncover new acquisition opportunities through rigorous market research and analysis of potential targets.
- Excel in land acquisition analysis by assessing potential investments and determining long-term value.
- Craft detailed financial models, including forecasts, valuations, and impact assessments.
- Monitor market trends, interpret financial statements, and proactively identify new investment avenues.
- Develop compelling investment reports, pitch books, memos, and business cases for senior management.
- Deliver data-driven recommendations backed by thorough research and analysis.
- Regularly review the financial performance of existing investments, focusing on P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets.
- Conduct meticulous due diligence, analyzing financial statements and market research to assess risks.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation for evaluations and data management.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders by sharing insightful updates on deal progress.
- Collaborate with internal teams and legal advisors to ensure investment documentation aligns with strategic goals.
- Drive process enhancement by implementing best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
- Contribute to policy and procedure development to maintain compliance and service quality.
- Create clear, impactful reports that support the strategic objectives of the Investments & Acquisitions department.
What We're Looking For
- Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within private equity or real estate.
- Proven track record in land acquisition analysis, including feasibility studies and risk assessment.
- Exceptional financial modelling skills with expertise in valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to transform data into actionable strategies.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Nice to Have
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CA, CAIA, or PMP.
