StepStone Group is hiring an Analyst for its Infrastructure & Real Assets (SIRA) team. You will provide critical analytical, modeling, and transactional support advising clients on global investments in infrastructure and related real asset sectors.
What You'll Do
- Create and modify sophisticated financial models, analyze financial statements and forecasts, and run valuation analyses including discounted cash flow and scenario modeling.
- Write and prepare memos and presentations for internal and client use.
- Research and conduct diligence on potential investment opportunities across primary funds, secondaries, co-investments, and direct investments.
- Construct and defend investment theses both verbally and in writing, including in Investment Committee meetings.
- Interact directly with clients and prepare advisory materials as required.
- Support senior staff in sourcing and managing the pipeline of investment opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 3 years of experience at an investment bank, project finance firm, professional services firm, investment manager, Limited Partner, or in associated fields.
- A Bachelor’s degree or MBA (or higher) ideally in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Economics.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
- Strong memo and presentation writing and preparation skills.
- Strong client interaction and communication skills.
- Flexibility to perform multiple functions in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
