About the Role

Lonza Biologics Inc. is hiring an AMER Pharma Global Key Account Manager to drive revenue growth and build strategic relationships for pharmaceutical accounts across the Americas region. You will represent Lonza's coordinated capabilities to key customers, ensuring alignment and fostering long-term partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop account management plans for platinum accounts, acting as a liaison between customer HQ, regional accounts, and Lonza corporate divisions.
  • Offer a complete and coordinated perspective of Lonza to customers, developing and maintaining connections with key collaborators in R&D, operations, and senior management.
  • Establish and monitor critical metrics to assess account management success and customer happiness.
  • Work closely with Local Field Sales Representatives and cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, supply chain) to align on customer needs and offerings.
  • Lead negotiations for contract renewals and modifications, ensuring favorable terms for both parties and managing contract execution at all levels.
  • Analyze the market and competition to identify growth opportunities and understand each customer's business dynamics.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Pharmaceutical product lifecycles, Lonza products, customer industry segment dynamics, and consumer trends.

What We're Looking For

  • BA/BS Degree.
  • Sales experience, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to clearly articulate Lonza’s value proposition specific to the Pharmaceutical sector.
  • Skill in modifying sales strategies according to market conditions and internal factors.
  • Ability to navigate sophisticated decision-making processes with a deep understanding of corporate buying partners and buying processes.
  • Proven ability to resolve conflicts effectively, addressing issues with customers or internally.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change within account structures and strategies.
  • Experience applying CRM tools and technologies to improve account management and customer engagement.
  • Ability to grasp customer team dynamics and connect with main collaborators who influence Lonza offerings.
  • Understanding of cultural nuances in global accounts to facilitate effective communication and relationship building.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30%.
