Lago is looking for an Amazon Compliance Specialist (E-commerce) to safeguard our clients' businesses on Amazon. You will research regulations and Amazon policies to resolve compliance violations, mitigate revenue loss, and ensure our operations meet all legal requirements.
What You'll Do
- Research laws and regulations related to advertising, labeling, and selling consumer goods, including FDA and EPA requirements.
- Manage daily deliverables across multiple clients and categories, meeting accuracy and quality control standards.
- Open and manage cases with Amazon Seller Support to resolve compliance issues.
- Follow standard practices to determine the best response to seller account problems.
- Discuss issues and solutions with your manager to ensure alignment with client and company needs.
- Analyze federal and state legislation to provide actionable compliance guidance.
- Communicate legal requirements concisely to ensure stakeholder understanding.
- Draft Amazon appeals, Plans of Action, and other documents under manager supervision.
- Work with internal departments to resolve issues and develop strategies for prevention.
- Act as a key point of contact for daily requests from internal teams and clients.
- Maintain communication with the brand management team, research regulations, and implement proactive compliance measures.
- Stay updated on Amazon policies and legal requirements to enhance your expertise.
- Assist your manager by gathering, tracking, and preparing documents for compliance investigations.
- Maintain or exceed department-established performance standards.
- Continuously learn and apply department training materials.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Up to two (2) years of experience in regulatory or compliance work.
- Ability to effectively communicate basic regulatory matters with clarity.
- Skill in reading, understanding, and interpreting compliance and regulatory language.
- Integrity to safeguard confidential information and use sound business judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar software.
- Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Nice to Have
- eCommerce or digital content experience.
