Paired is looking for an Amazon Account Manager, Performance and Strategy to serve as the primary client-facing lead for a portfolio of Amazon-focused accounts. You will own performance storytelling, strategic guidance, and client communication, providing direction to backend media execution teams.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Amazon accounts.
- Lead recurring client calls and performance reviews with director-level stakeholders.
- Translate complex Amazon Ads performance into clear, concise narratives tied to business outcomes.
- Build and present performance decks that highlight trends, risks, opportunities, and next steps.
- Manage client expectations through proactive communication and structured reporting.
- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance recaps across Amazon Advertising programs.
- Analyze KPIs including sales growth, TACoS, ROAS, keyword SOV, and organic rank movement.
- Identify performance drivers and blockers, and clearly articulate what is working and why.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across accounts and internal dashboards.
- Review backend Amazon Ads execution to ensure strategy aligns with agreed objectives.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to Amazon Ads specialists executing campaigns.
- Audit campaign structure, targeting logic, and budget allocation at a strategic level.
- Flag risks, inefficiencies, or missed opportunities and guide the team on corrective actions.
- Serve as a quality-control layer between execution teams and clients.
- Work closely with media buyers, SEO, content, and analytics teams to align priorities.
- Translate client feedback into clear internal direction and action items.
- Help maintain focus on the highest-impact initiatives to avoid reactive or low-value work.
What We're Looking For
- Prior hands-on experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns.
- Strong understanding of Amazon Sponsored Ads, keyword strategy, and budget pacing.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- English C1-C2 fluency.
- Proven ability to present performance insights clearly and confidently to clients.
- Experience building structured decks and performance presentations.
- Ability to give direct, thoughtful feedback to execution teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Former Amazon PPC Manager who has transitioned into a strategic or client-facing role.
- Experience working with multiple brands or agencies.
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize, synthesize, and simplify complex data.
