About the Role

The role involves developing and managing relationships with financial intermediaries to grow assets in alternative investment products, supporting sales initiatives, and serving as a key liaison between distribution channels and internal investment teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with financial advisors and institutions
  • Manage a portfolio of existing distribution partners across the region
  • Conduct regular field meetings to present investment offerings and strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor materials for regional needs
  • Provide market feedback to headquarters on client preferences and trends
  • Support RFP and due diligence processes for institutional clients
  • Coordinate regional events and educational seminars for advisors
  • Monitor competitive landscape and adjust outreach strategies accordingly
  • Track and report on sales activity and pipeline development
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in all client interactions
  • Serve as primary point of contact for partner inquiries and onboarding
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to maintain best practices
  • Develop quarterly business plans aligned with national goals
  • Leverage CRM tools to manage client interactions and follow-ups
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of alternative investment products
  • Deliver training sessions to advisor networks on product features
  • Analyze client data to identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Support national sales campaigns with localized messaging
  • Build relationships with home office personnel at broker-dealers
  • Facilitate communication between advisors and investment operations
  • Respond to requests for performance data and product details
  • Advocate for client needs within internal product development discussions
  • Maintain accurate records of all business development activities
  • Drive adoption of digital platforms among distribution partners
  • Promote brand visibility through industry participation
