About the Role
The consultant will develop and maintain custom automation solutions using Airtable and Zapier to support internal workflows and data management. This role requires strong technical execution and clear communication to translate business needs into functional systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and build automated workflows using Airtable and Zapier
- Collaborate with team members to identify process inefficiencies
- Translate business requirements into technical implementations
- Maintain and update existing automation systems
- Troubleshoot errors and optimize performance of workflows
- Document system architecture and process logic
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms
- Integrate third-party apps with Airtable via Zapier
- Support onboarding of team members to new tools
- Provide recommendations for system improvements
- Monitor automation performance and report on reliability
- Implement error handling and notification protocols
- Scale solutions as operational needs evolve
- Ensure compliance with data privacy standards
- Test new features and updates before deployment
- Coordinate with external partners when integrations are required
- Keep automation logic aligned with changing business goals
- Reduce manual data entry through smart triggers and actions
- Create user-friendly interfaces within Airtable
- Train team members on best practices for tool usage
- Respond to support requests related to automation tools
- Maintain version control for critical bases
- Audit workflows periodically for efficiency
- Suggest alternative tools or upgrades when appropriate
- Work within defined project timelines
