About the Role
The position is responsible for generating new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and advancing deals through the sales pipeline in coordination with field teams and management.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and manage outbound prospecting campaigns to identify potential customers
- Conduct initial discovery calls to assess customer needs and fit
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria including budget, authority, need, and timeline
- Schedule product demonstrations with qualified prospects
- Collaborate with field sales representatives to transition opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in the CRM system
- Follow up consistently with prospects to advance sales conversations
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries in a timely manner
- Research target accounts and industries to improve outreach effectiveness
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales activity and revenue goals
- Participate in sales training and product knowledge sessions
- Use sales development tools and sequences to streamline outreach
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Communicate market feedback to internal stakeholders
- Support marketing initiatives by providing lead performance insights
- Adhere to established sales processes and best practices
- Track progress against KPIs and adjust strategies as needed
- Engage in team meetings and performance reviews
- Stay current on product updates and competitive landscape
- Build rapport with prospects through professional and consultative communication
