At Motorola Solutions, we are offering a Co-Op internship for an AI/ML Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team. You will build new AI and LLM tools within our existing ecosystem, working directly with internal teams to understand business operations and varied data sources. Your work will deliver value to stakeholders and help change how the business operates.
What You'll Do
- Understand our data ecosystem and all of the data resources we have available.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business, its data, its patterns and our customers.
- Assist building our AI tools & infrastructure and ensure it works with our existing data ecosystem.
- Ensure the developed tools are intuitive and easy to use for business stakeholders.
- Work with data engineers to ensure we have the necessary data sources available to build these tools.
- Help define and refine new tools to maximize business impact.
What We're Looking For
- Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at a Canadian university with a degree in a quantitative analysis discipline (math, science, engineering, economics, finance, statistics or similar business discipline).
- At least 2 years working with SQL (Snowflake preferred).
- At least 1 year experience working with Python.
- At least 1 year working with LLM prompting.
- At least 1 year working with python Web App platforms (preferred Flask or Django).
Nice to Have
- Experience building agentic systems.
- Experience performing data analysis with Python, Pandas, and Seaborn.
- Build LLM-based tools using MCPs to connect with data sources.
- Embrace a ‘deliver & iterate’ mentality.
