Henry Schein One LLC is hiring a Manager, Pricing Analytics & Programming to be a key driver of revenue growth by transforming data into strategic pricing and commercial insights.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement advanced pricing models and algorithms to optimize pricing across a diverse product portfolio.
- Analyze customer price sensitivity, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to identify price optimization opportunities.
- Evaluate sales performance, customer behavior, and trends to enhance commercial strategy effectiveness.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve sales force effectiveness, customer segmentation, and marketing initiatives.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and commercial teams.
- Develop compelling narratives that drive strategic decisions leading to measurable improvements in revenue and profitability.
- Partner closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product Management.
- Champion data-driven decision-making and influence stakeholders at all levels to adopt new strategies.
- Build predictive models to forecast demand, identify churn risk, and uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to evaluate the impact of pricing changes and commercial initiatives.
- Work with large, complex datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Utilize a range of data science tools and technologies, including Python or R, SQL, and data visualization platforms.
What We're Looking For
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Strong experience with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Proven ability to analyze large, complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business challenges into data science problems with a strong focus on driving business outcomes and ROI.
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven experience influencing others to adopt recommendations and drive change without direct authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Typically 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role, with a focus on pricing, revenue management, or commercial analytics.
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Experience in the healthcare or distribution industry is highly preferred.
- Master's degree or global equivalent preferred.
